Hard to describe how awesome this place is. I’d driven past it a few times and looked down on it from the road. I really wanted to hike down and check it out, but it seemed crazy. This time the water level was a bit lower, so I decided to go for it.
Once inside the canyon there are little waterfalls everywhere. Even water shooting out of cracks in the rock at some spots. The water in the river is so clear it looks like I’m floating in the underwater shots, wish I had taken more.
This is located on the road from Portorillos to Volcan, well under the road anyway. There is a little bridge that goes right over it, and you could drive by without even knowing its there.
