This is the MX Gears helmet from LS2. I’ve always thought the motocross style of helmet were cool looking. But I also love the flip open modular style of helmet, now I have both and seem to use them equally. I found it was easier to mount my Drift helmet camera on my HJC, so I use it for vlogging now. When I go out for some hard trail riding I take the LS2.
I like the visor as it helps to block the sun a bit. I’ve noticed that because the helmets nose comes to more of a point the wind screen has a bit of a “V” shape to it. This shape seems to help push the rain drops off to the side while I’m riding in a storm. My favorite thing about the helmet is the venting. It does a great job funneling fresh air inside, and somewhere hot and humid like Panama that is very important.
